WHAT IF THERE WAS NO SUCH THING AS WASTE?
It’s an interesting question, and one that’s being explored during this year’s Melbourne Knowledge Week, an annual festival that brings Melbournians together to share ideas, challenge assumptions and spark new ways of thinking.
One of the highlights of the program is a special panel event ‘A Bug’s (After)Life’ which looks at how insects are reshaping the global food system and helping transform organic waste from a problem into a powerful resource. This fascinating technology is actually available right now.
ISPT, who own 206 Bourke Street are hosting A Bug’s (After)Life to share their knowledge and help people learn more about how our creepy crawly friends play an important role in building circular economies and creating more sustainable futures.
The panel event is on Tuesday, 10 May at 5pm, please register here if you’d like to attend. https://mkw.melbourne.vic.gov.au/event/a-bugs-afterlife-panel/
